Roast Steak Stack!

Ingredients:

3+ steaks

Pack of short cut Bacon

One sliced onion

Skewers

Jar of minced garlic

Veggies to roast (I picked some Carrots, Eggplant, Cherry Tomatoes, Potato, Sweet Potato and some asparagus)

Steps

  1. Soak the skewers in water for 20mins so they do not burn in the oven.
  • Preheat the oven to 190°C or 374°F
  • Place steak on chopping board and place 1 skewer towards the top of the steak
  • Spread a light covering of garlic and onion onto the steak
  • Then place bacon on top of steak.
  • And repeat steps 2-4 again by placing another steak on top of the first and spreading the garlic onion and on the steak
  • When all steaks have been stacked up, add more skewers to reenforce the meat. I used 6 skewers
  • Lightly oil and using and salt and pepper, season the stack of steak then lie it down in a deep tray, ready to cook in the oven.
  • Cook in the Oven for 20-25mins per 500g. The steak would come out cooked medium to cooked.
  1. I also did some veggies to go along with the steak
  1. I cut some carrots and put them in the microwave along with some seasoned potatoes
  1. I also pan fried some asparagus, tomatoes and the eggplant

When all food is cooked, put on plate and serve!
